Our Team

A Torrey Pines High School alum, Dr. Hydo is a native of Solana Beach and is most thankful and proud to serve the community he loves. He is passionate about creating Great Smiles for patients and really enjoys the confidence patients have about their smile with orthodontic treatment.

Dr. Hydo is a board certified orthodontist with the American Board of Orthodontics. He also has lectured about orthodontics and clear aligner treatment (ie Invisalign®, 3M™ Clarity™) and served as part-time faculty in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Southern California.

Before treating North County children and adults, Dr. Hydo was caring for our military during his 10 years in the US Air Force. During which time he earned his Master of Science in Craniofacial Biology and a Certificate of Orthodontics from the University of Southern California.

Dr. Hydo is honored to be practicing in his hometown and is thankful to be able to spend time with his wife and two sons at the local sports fields, golf courses, and beaches.

Dr. Brea’s passion is that all children have good oral health and have a good experience and relationship with their dentist. She treats everyone like a VIP and as if they were her own family. She was motivated by her own experience with her pediatric dentist as a child to pursue a career in pediatric dentistry at the young age of 17.

Dr. Brea earned her Biology BS degree from Penn State University in May 2002 with Highest Distinction. Then, she completed her DDS at University of Maryland in May 2006. She had the privilege to serve in the United States Navy where she received an Advanced Education in General Dentistry certificate at the Naval Medical Center San Diego in June 2007. She served as a Lieutenant Dental Officer at MCAS Miramar from June 2007 to June 2010. She completed her pediatric dentistry residency at UCLA at the San Diego site at Rady Children’s Hospital in June 2012. She earned the Pugh Award for her American Board of Pediatric Dentistry exam score, which was in the top 3% of all candidates taking the examination in 2012. She has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry since 2014.

Dr. Brea continues to advocate for children’s oral health by providing education visits to Head Start centers, Mom groups, and professionals that see new mothers and young children in the community.

Dr. Brea is married to Dr. Keith Reid and they are the proud parents of their son, Ezra Reid. They are very active and enjoy the outdoors and traveling around the world. Dr. Brea is a competitive runner, placing first in her age group in multiple marathons and completing the Boston Marathon four times. You may see her running often along the beach in Del Mar.

A believer that if you love what you do you’ll never work a single day, Dr. Miller is passionate about delivering exceptional results in a fun and friendly environment. Dr. Miller emphasizes building relationships with patients as a solid foundation for bringing even more shining smiles to the community she loves.

An exceptional communicator, Dr. Miller is proud to be able to help patients commit to their treatment in a way that avoids setbacks and delivers results that last a lifetime. Dr. Miller received both her DDS and Orthodontics degree with a Masters in Craniofacial Sciences from University of California San Francisco. She is proud to have been named a Local Hero by North County Kids Magazine for her commitment to giving back to the community.

As a San Dieguito High School graduate, Dr. Miller is thrilled to be back in her hometown contributing to the community she loves. In her free time she enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her husband, daughters and King Charles Cavalier, Harper.

Now a board certified pediatric dentist, Dr. Katheria settled back into sunny San Diego and lives in Carlsbad with her husband and two boys. Well-versed in children’s cartoons, Dr. Katheria enjoys hiking, yoga, and traveling in the few spare moments she has between being an amazing pediatric dentist and a full-time mother.

Dr. Binita Katheria grew up in Southern California and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience from our very own University of California, San Diego. Dr. Katheria completed her dental degree (DDS) at the University of California at Los Angeles School of Dentistry, where she took opportunities to travel abroad on dental mission trips, helping underserved communities. During these trips, her passion for pediatric dentistry grew. While completing her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, she also conducted original research to earn a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD). Dr. Katheria’s research, published in the prestigious Journal of Pediatric Dentistry, focused on the effectiveness of cone beam computed tomography when assessing pathology in children.
